Possible to have chickens that are only checked on once a week?

I was pretty sure it would be a no go, but i wanted to ask to make sure I wasn't missing something. I do agree, when have had chickens in the past we check on them, their food, water, etc daily, plus we bring them treats daily too.i think even if I hired someone to watch them it would still leave too much room for error.

The waiting is gonna be fun, too. All that excitement and then when you finally get them, yay! lol It also gives you more time to research all the great breeds out there. Maybe start perennial herb gardens instead of chickens? You don't have to tend those as much if you keep them mulched. Then when you finally get moved out there, you'll have medicinals already growing!

Try growing lots of chickweed, that stuff is wonderful.
