Heard some commotion from my quail pen the other night so I went out and looked. Sure enough this was what I found. He was trying to reach his short hand through the egg-roll-out slot. A couple of BB shot chase him away. Thankfully all quails were accounted for.
I have one of those scarecrow motion detected sprinkler at the ground level and it has been effective. But here I think the possum approached it from the tree and the sprinkler missed it all together. I need a better way to deter these predators!
