Does any one know if the color of easter eggers determine the egg color, post pics of you EE and a pic oc the egg she lays,,I know EE's vary widely in color but i just got 5 new ones and there are two set that are exactly the same and the 5th one is solid white with one feather on her head that looks like a feather from one matching pair, any ideas ,and p[lease post your pics ,mine are not laying yet

The color of chicken in general does NOT indicate what color of egg it will lay.

Most Easter Egger hens are the typical brown with black lacing, and some can be white or red pyle-type color. (white with reddish brown feathers on head, chest)

Mine for example doesn't even lay a green egg, she lays a light brown egg, verging on white.

What does help clue what color egg your pullets will lay are comb type and earlobe color. If she has a pea comb and red earlobes, chances are she'll give green eggs. If her comb is a floppy, tall, or odd shape of a pea comb, your chances will lower. If her comb is straight - She'll just give brown eggs.
