Post pictures of cackles chicks and adults please!

Just hoping to see what kind of quality comes out of thier stock. I've placed and order with them for these breeds and am wondering what I'll get. Cochins, Polish, California Whites and Buff orpingtons. I'd love to see other breeds too in order to help me decide next springs order

I just got an order from them and they totally screwed it up, sent less than birds ordered, order was delayed and customer service tho nice is clueless! The silkies are pathetic (lots of splayled legs) and the silver and golden polish are less than great and dying. (6 dead in 3 days and trust me Ive already started 300 chicks this year with ONLY 2 deaths, I know what Im doing so I have to blame this on the quality of their birds) The white polish seem nice as do the splash. (keep in mind they farm out speciafic breeds to individual farms. I wont order from them again, maybe youll have better luck!

wow, that seems really crazy. i just cant believe that. cackle has a wonderful reputation and a fabulous quality of birds. ive never once had a dead bird from them in all the years ive ordered, never had sick birds and i have a silkie bantam that i recieved in a hatchery surprise who is in no way splay legged. all my birds are great, and you are actually the only person i know who ever had an experience like that with cackle, all the people i have known who use cackle or whom i have reccommended are very happy. if you want to see pics of cackle chicks, go to the cackle hatchery surprise thread in this section, youll see tons of great birds.
