Keep in mind this is an old school guy who mows our 5 aces of yard with a .45 and a 9mm - just in case. We have some very aggressive dogs around our place, and the neighbors don't care who/what they hurt. They are currently involved in a court case concerning two of their dogs. I used to think he was being "silly" about "needing" guns for home protection - but now I'm a total convert - I have my own handgun now and can use it if I have to.

The lighter is there because he was having a local ATF meeting with his buddies when he took the picture. He didn't include our rifles or shotguns - IMO they deserve a place in the picture too....

Maybe the lighter is there in case he runs out of bullets he will still have one last thing to throw at the enemy

Nah, it's so that when he catches whoever's been in the coop, he can give 'em a blindfold and last cigarette.

I have a Armalite AR10-A4 (.308).
It has a 4-14 power scope and a custom made camo cover.
Does a nice job on deer and coyotes.

I killed a deer with it last year.
He ate every bit of my fall garden

So i ate him back
