Potchefstroom Koekoek

Hi all from Sunny Northern Cape.
I need some advice please. Is it "normal" for a Potchefstroom Koekoek to lay and hatch chicks that grow up to be more white and light colored than a Potch Koekoek should be?

I'm looking for a rooster to replace my old Rooster and posted it on facebook. An elderly man contacted me and said that he has a rooster that is very light colored and that 3 of this rooster's siblings were almost white. Now Im hesitant.

They are supposed to be black and white. If you look at this site, the one on the left is a little lighter than the one on the right so some variation is there, but to stretch that to "almost white," I think must be a mix in there.
