Hello. I have a now 3 week old chick. Shes been having eye issues since 2 weeks ago which I have been treating with rinsing out her eye with saline and putting eye gel and neosporin in her eye. She seemed to get better but the wateriness never went away. Now she is sneezing and has a bump below her ear. She has also been making this yawning motion a lot. No lethargy noted other than normal chick behavior. And she has been eating and drinking normally. Im starting to feel she may need antibiotics but am tied between Doxycycline/Tylosin and Amoxicillin/Tylosin. Im hoping someone has some answers to help out. A lot of the flock has also started sneezing and I gave Vetrx Poultry Aid but no one but her has had any other symptoms. I have included her at 1 week old (first 2) and current (next 3) and the yawning (last)

I would get some Tylosin from Jedds.com or Tiagard and treat for possible MG, a chronic sinus and respiratory disease. Have you added new chicks recently or did she (or a hatching egg) come from another person?

I ended up getting Amoxicillin/Tylosin from Jedds exactly. No new chicks. Shes in a Flock of 16 all from same batch which we received when they were 2 days old
