I hatched out four poults this mourning. One of them is about 6 hours old and has leg that looks swollen at the knee. The leg stays along the body and won't extend.

Is this fixable or should I cull the poult.

Have you posted on the turkey forum? I know very little about turkeys, but leg bone deformities can be very common. You might try putting some poultry vitamins and minerals in the water in case it might be a vitamin deficiency.

Yes I posted there as well. I tried a recommendation from there. As a pulled hamstring or slipped tendon. But to no avail. As hard as it was for me to do I decided to cull the poult. As the others were doing ok.

Thanks for advice will keep in mind if it happens again.
