This 122pg. reference remains useful (Kansas State College Agricultural Experiment Station). Though bichloride of mercury is no longer among one's first choice to disinfect the coop, the `Scheme to aid in the diagnosis of poultry diseases' on pg. 20 is still handy. As are the thorough descriptions of diseases as revealed on necroscopy.

Much of the information included in this bulletin has been gained from some 25 years of investigation on poultry diseases at this Agricultural Experiment Station. During that time we have studied some 75,000 birds from nearly 25,000 outbreaks.

Protocols from the days when the `antibiotics' were pretty much limited to sulfas/iodine/silver nitrate
