Poultry Lice - What is the best product to treat?

One pf my laying hens has been acting strangely. Low appetite, a little lethargic today, her eyes are droopy. When I picked her up it was obvious something was wrong. She was way too light. I checked her body. She has little golden parasites that match her feathers. I quarantines her and cleaned her off to the best of my abilities. It is a testament to how bad she is feeling that she just lay in my lap and let me use tweezers to pull the pests from between her feathers. I know that i need to treat her and the rest of the flock. No one else has any symptoms. What is the best product?

I use permethrin dust on the lethargic ones, permethrin spray on the healthy ones. Go to Tractor Supply and get some poultry dust ASAP!

I also used permethrin, or a product that contains that, when I dealt with lice and mites. I used a dust, but a spray could probably be easier to apply. Make sure you clean the coop, corners especially, and treat the others quickly.

The spray does work really well, but this chicken sounds like she's very sick, so one wouldn't want to get her wet.... that could be enough to kill her.
