Poultry mite tags, do they work?

I saw an ad for poultry mite tags, like the ones seen here http://mitetag.com/ It seems like a great solution, if it works.
Has anyone used these? I get tired of dusting my birds with pesticides, and my Cochins are like little mite magnets during the winter.

Interesting. How are they attached? Through the wing? Seems a bit invasive when you can get the same effect by dusting, which is painless. I'm curious if anyone has actually used these. I have never heard of them, but have had a radical increase in mites since I stopped using Seven dust, so I am always interested in checking out new products.
