We are trying electronet for chickens to give the chickens in this small tractor coop a bit more room to forage. Anyone care to share experiences with using poultry net? We got a starter kit, which comes with a solar battery, tester, and a single roll of netting. Fingers crossed!
Link below starting page 5 has some of the netting approaches I have used. My preference now is to use netting in concert with dogs. To provide more area I like shape to be closer to a square.
I am not a fan of fescue as the floral part or forage base, at least not exclusively. I try to manage for a mix that includes legumes like clovers. I also like to make so there are patches of taller vegetating next to shorter. The edges are appear more productive.
