So we have 3 almost three week old and 10 just over a week old poults. They are just not interested in the starter. I have tried 2 different companys offerings. They will eat apple, a bit of grass/weeds and a very few types of vegatable leafs. I'm a bit worried now as surely they need that protein from the starter.

I tried putting the starter right under their beaks but they wouldn't take it. I hope someone may have a suggestion.

I think you worry too much. Take all the other things out and only have the starter feed there. IF THEY DO NOT EAT THE FEED IN 2 DAYS, THEN START TO WORRY.
WISHING YOU BEST......:thumbsup

I heard that putting shiny marbles in the food will attract them to it. My birds are attracted to all shiny things so I would think that yours would too. I read it out of Storeys Guide to Raising Turkeys. It's a good book. If you need any more help, feel free to ask us! :) I hope it all works out!
