This may seem like an odd question, but if you feed dry pellets or corn, how do you get powdered medication to stick to it and not blow away, or gather at the bottom of the food bowl?

Our chickens are fed corn (but they free range and eat kitchen scraps too) and this is a problem we encounter feeding mineral mixes, and our new worming medication. How to get it to stick, without making the corn damp and inviting bacteria and mould (esp since its hot here now). Any thoughts?

Could you grind it up, making a mash? Easier to mix powders in that. And you could wet enough for their daily feed, making a cold porridge. They should like that. Soaking pellets in water to break them up works as well.

What medication are you trying to mix in your "feed"?
Mineral and Wormers ain't medications. Is there a reason for not using poultry feed? That would eliminate the need to add a mineral mix as for the wormer I use Ivormec and fenbendazole which are both liquid.
