Okay, here's the deal. Power went out for about 2 hours during the evening of Day 18.... I locked down that morning. Another outage for a couple more hours during day 19. Today is day 25.....no pips that I can see....haven't heard any internal peeping like in my other hatches. I'm scared to open the bator and look at the eggs....just in case they may make a late arrival. Anyone out there ever have something similar to happen? If so, how'd it go? I figure if nothing by Day 27, I'll take them out and do eggtopsies. Is is crazy to wait that long? My temp and humidity have been fine all during incubation. The only possible problem would be those power outages during lockdown.......What horrible timing!!

Power outages are a real bummer. Try thinking of getting a battery bank going as a backup source

I agree, i don't think you have anything to lose by pipping one today. Good luck.

I had a power outage for 24 hours on day 18! 24 hours, no power! I found it and the temperture was at 78 degrees!

The power came back on day 19 and 9 out of 15 hatched. Of the four that didn't hatch, 3 were clear and one quit at day 12-15.

Just goes to show you, you never can tell.....
