Okay, so, I know it's still early but I swear overnight this chick started looking very roo-ish.
These are prairie bluebell chicks, supposedly. They're a couple days old. I'm new to raising chicks and this is our first little batch, so I have no idea what I'm doing in terms of sexing a chick but honestly this chick just LOOKS so too that I'm super curious what you all think!
I'll post photos of the suspected roo first, and then some of the other bluebells in the comments!
Things I'm seeing that make me think roo (that may or may not have any legitimacy. Go easy on me- I'm still new!)
-Posture (compared to others)
-lack of developing tail feathers (compared to others)
-head shape (compared to others)
-wing shape/posture (compared to others).
What are your thoughts?!
