So we saw these fellas doing their courtship dance by the road this morning... I love Prairie Chickens! I hope you can see their yellow cheeks!!!

I wish they'd be neat to see here! But nope all we got is grouse, bobwhite quail, and pheasants well and turkeys.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! We don't have prairie chickens, so I love seeing pictures of everyone else's wildlife. My major excitement was seeing a piebald deer in my driveway--and of course the batteries were dead in my camera....

I've seen videos of them on youtube. They look and sound pretty neat! Pretty too.

Here they are this morning, it wasnt foggy so they saw me and quit displaying, but I still got a good shot of the yellow on the male's neck.

pretty cool. they used to be in our area but that has been forty years ago. the cropfiels are too big now and the only thing that divides them is roads
