Today is a great day! We just got our 1st egg! Not bad for a first one. Our RIR hens just turned 19 weeks yesterday. The lucky hen started her egg song this morning, so we thought this could be the day, and sure enough it was! It was even more special having my wife's mom and my wife's sister and her kids with us when it happened!
