My moms best friend, Deona, is also her co-worker. Deona's sister Mandy works with them as well. Yesterday, Deona had a hysterectomy and she's just 32 years old. Today, Deona and Mandy found out their grandma has a matter of hours to live because she was put on blood thinners and her brain began bleeding. The doctors say there is no hope so I'm taking Mandy's shift so she can be with her family. My brother just called and told us his ex-girlfriend called. She said, " Hey, what's Mandy's #? I just rear-ended her". So on top of her grandmother dying, she just got rear ended. Deona's oldest daughter broke her pinky last month and about two days later, her son broke his thumb while playing baseball. And her youngest daughter has also been going through intestinal problems. Although they're not my favorite people and I've dealt with a lot of bad stuff from their younger sister ( long story, don't date girls who think they're all that ; D ) they are people and as many of you know, I lost my grandpa in January to a heart attack. Although we're not extremely close, losing a grandparent is hard no matter what. So if you guys could pray for them and keep them in your thoughts, it would be appreciated.
