Pre move-in inspection

Charlotte, Emily, & Anne check out their new digs. They're 9 1/2 weeks old, and tomorrow is move-in day!

Very nice, Imp! Your birds are BEAUTIFUL! I think I did see the 3rd photo before (with your shadow ;-) when I was looking for ideas for mine, and your success helped me decide to go for the shed. How do they like the buckets-on-their-sides for nest boxes?

Before I put together the inside of the coop. The chickens were just on the floor. I added the buckets and second floor when I introduced the 3 younger ones, and one started eggeating. They have worked out well. The RIR likes to sleep in them. My only complaint about the coop is that I get lots of slugs in it, going after the food. I just despise cleaning up slug slime.

Imp- I guess I should be thankful that it isn't a worse predator

yOU KNOW IF you sprinkle salt on slugs it will make them go away forever. So maybe put some rock salt under your shed.
