first off all weve killed 6 snakes this year.
the other night me my older cousin and my
little sister are shutting the coop and a snakes right there!!
we run in and tell my dad by the time were back out THERE IS TWO ......... MATING! we shot 1 twice and they both ran
later one came back missed it.That same night we saw 2 cats(stray) and 2 skunks.saw nother skunk tonight.

We've had 4 non-venimous snakes show up in the past month. We don't kill them as they help keep the Cooperheads and Rattlesnakes away. We just keep removing them away from the coop areas. 2 out of the 4 snakes that we've had here were doing their best to escape the wrath of the chickens. We suspect one of them did itself in by eating a warmed up golfball...

This past Friday, we went to do maintenance on a clients aquarium and within an hours time we watched 4 baby Skunks emerge from underneath his house. I think the client wanted US to kill them for him and we were like, "Sorry Man, we do fish tanks, not skunks"!

We've had a wet spring here in TN after a few dry years, and it's bringing them all out since the right foods are more available, I think.

Don't be too hasty to bump off the Slithery Sisters...

They keep mice and rats away from your chickens and they only as for a couple of eggs every now and again...

The cats are another matter...and I leave the skunks to eat the grubs in my lawn.
