I noticed my Polish rooster two nights ago had blood on him where the tail and the back meet. He had alot of broken feathers, and some were bleeding. I see the next morning there are broken feathers in one area in the pen. I see a large gray cat skulking around outside my back yard.

I am thinking it's a cat that did it. Has anyone had a predator cat?

Yes and she happened to be my own, I also have a feral that is stalking my coop, so I have been on the watch. I let my birds out to forage a couple hours every evening so I can watch and I have to put my outside cat in a dog crate while they roam.

Yes, cats will kill chickens. i had a neighbor cat try to grab one of my showgirls when they were grazing right in front of me while i sat in a lawn chair. Luckily i saw him and screamed so loud he ran off. i followed and hosed him down really well, continuing as he jumped over the fence. He hasn't been back, but i will never trust any cat that enters our yard again.

Oh yes they love to prey on brids!!! Anything feathery that they estimate is seizable they will seize...

I have a pretty small sized cat that will bring to my door enormous rats and pretty big doves... My coop is fenced and guarded by dogs so my cat can't get there.

Sadly chickens seem to be a favorite for many predators... incluiding us humans...

feral cats have been my worst predator.Since they moved into the area we no longer have quail and the wild turkeys are gone. The last one was trying to get into the run with the wife and myself standing there. The feral cats are wiping out a lot of the songbirds and working on the chickens that i have and other people in the area as well.
I am not a cat hater and have a cat of my own but I shoot any feral cat I see, I'm not happy about this but have lost about thirty layers to cats this year.

I have a huge feral problem around here also, I am a huge animal lover but I will shoot a feral cat on sight.

Wow. This cat also looks like she recently had a litter.
Oh no, that's not good. When we first moved into this house we had a lot of ferals in the back. We rescued several kittens, but i think all but one ended up dying after being placed with a rescue group. Then i heard that someone who lived back behind us trapped and took all of them to Animal Control. Sad, but probably better than living their lives in harsh conditions. Now we just have neighbor cats hanging about our yard.
