Predator is getting in

So this hasn't happened in a week or two now, but we had 2 chicks taken at 2 different times. Just wondering what is happening to them. the coop we use is here:https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalo...bhouse-Coop-w-Run-up-to-4-chickens-p1167.aspx I will upload some pictures of the coop in a few minutes with the added security we installed. Just wondering if anyone knows what could have been getting in?

I am def not an expert, but I can't see any evidence of break-ins in your pics. Did you find any holes or areas where something was digging? Did something burrow under/in between something? Everything looks fine in your pics... Huh... And did you find remains or anything like that? I hope you find an answer.

They don't free range so yes we know they did not run away

When you say "chicks" do you mean baby chicks or feathered adults? If baby chicks, a snake or small rodent is probably the culprit. They can flatten their bodies to almost nothing but they'd be trapped by the large bulge in their body and couldn't get out. I've had it happen. No way a bird the size of the ones you have pictured could escape that pen. Maybe neighborhood kids playing pranks? Put up a game camera. That'll solve the mystery. Good luck!

Agree with cattleman on this one many things even cats can get in from the bottom

There is wire over the bottom by 'chicks' i mean they will be 8 weeks tomorrow. We set up a camera and a motion sensor light that will turn on the second something enters the yard

What time of day did they go missing? There could be a number of possibilities. Are you in an urban or rural area of NJ? Have you searched the local area for remains or signs of struggle? ( Piles of feathers, blood, etc)
