Predator or Bully?

Help! I have a 4 month old pullet that was in with 3 other juveniles pullets, that have done fine for weeks, out in coup and run with 12 grown hens, 1 rooster, that I can tell there have only been little scuffles. But I’ve lost 2 hens on the last month to hawk attacks, they used to free range. So for the last month they’ve been inside the coup and run. Well the little juveniles were in a crate inside the coup, for about 2 weeks and now have 2-3 weeks have been out with the big girls and seemed to do ok keeping their distance. Well I came home to this, today. And I need to know if it’s a potential predator like a weasel that got in, or if it’s possible the big girls ganged up on her.

Looks like a predator to me. So sorry. That must have been rough to walk in on. I would try to make sure your coop is predator PROOF.

So sorry for your loss. I'm not sure. Have you seen any serious bullying going on?

If you have a camera, put it up and then you will know if there is a predator lucking because most likely if it was a predator it will be back and then you will know for sure what you're dealing with. Good luck...
