Something attacked my chickens and I found the rooster and my sitting hen out in the yard. It had killed an older chick and a hatching and a hen is missing, but no feathers found. Do you think the hen will go back to her nest since its time for them to hatch? Or should I try to keep them warm and see if I can save them? And since the rooster and one hen were hiding in the hostas, is there any chance the missing hen may be hiding somewhere else?

She went right back on her nest come morning. And the missing hen came home ,too. Lesson learned after a fretful night.
