It is digital with a SD card. I download them on the computer and then clear the SD card. The newest camera we have takes D cell batteries and have to replace them about every 6 weeks depending on whether we leave it on every night. We currently have an 11 pointer, one 6, and one 8 coming in every night so we have it on every night for now.

I have a game cam that I purchased several years ago and it's been fantastic for catching what is up in my woods all times of the day.

Sometimes during hunting season I catch poachers on film, which is very amusing.
