Predators and Dogs

One is interested in the chickens but super calm, and the chickens will follow him around the fence when he's out and about.

Yup, same here, some like to 'play tag'...it's hilarious!

These 3 chickens did not run away when the fox pictured took a run at them and hit the fence.
All the others ran and hid.
Have seen various responses from chickens with fox, coyote, visiting dogs and and stray dogs.
It's a crap shoot.

My Animals all know the difference between my Dogs and Cat and Fox or Coyote. They react to others Dogs and My Chickens run home when the cat next door comes to visit.
I recently got Goats so my Chickens were extremely cautious about the goats at first too.
