My little wry neck is winding down on orednisone and is better can I return her to the flock??

That is great that she has recovered from her episode of wry neck. You can return her to the flock if you are not in a super cold location. To reduce stress from pecking order issues during reintroduction, you may want to put her in a pet carrier or kennel. That way the flock can get used to having her back but wont be able to chase her or peck her.

Her neck is not 100 but she was sick for 3 weeks she is very active tho and I'm sure she is Lonely.i think I have to wind her down from prednisone right? will she be susceptible to infection or something

Ween her off the prednisone, like you say. I don't think she will be more prone to infection, but stress can lead to flare ups of wry neck symptoms, so you want to make the transition as easy as possible.

Prednisone use can decrease the immunity to infection, so the sooner she gets weaned and off of it, the better. This is what I use for introducing chicks or new birds. It can be flipped over, have poultry netting around it, and bird netting on top to keep the others out. It comes apart for storage, and most Lowes or Home Depot carry these. A dog crate does the same job.

It may be that..I took her out and she scurried around trying to get back to me..I picked her up and she snuggled into the crook of my elbow and buried her head lol. Her neck isn't straight yet so maybe that's why? I was taking her to work with me, I think she's happy inside with us omg

We are setting up our coop so they are all still in the brooder..I'll wait until I move them then I'll set that up thx. I can tell she doesn't consider herself a chicken anymore lol. She talks to me and everything and funny thing I know what her chirps mean now lol
