I've decided to keep my "flock" small (2-3 birds) to begin. I want to buy a "prefab" coop that I can assemble. I want to keep it about 6' tall due to deed restrictions. I've looked at Costco, Tractor Supply etc. The price point appears to be between $200-$300.
Does anyone have any recommendations on this size coop?

TIA

I have a coop that I use for my brooding pen that works well for two or three adult chickens so long as you add to the run part since the lower level is a bit too tight for full grown ones in there 24/7. Super easy to put together and just as easy to clean. I did add some hardware cloth to the bottom to keep critters from getting inside. I've only had an issue with a black snake getting in to get chicks one time and that was before I put the cloth on.

One thing to keep in mind, these prefabs are not predator proof. If a dog really wanted to get inside, it could. I have mine inside a secured run already so the security issues aren't a problem for me but without my current setup it could be.
