Pregnant (?) Rabbit - diet needs?

Hi!

Last week we brought home an American Chinchilla Rabbit and she had been with a buck, so we're treating her as pregnant.

With a potential due date of February 19th. She is getting a good 2nd cut Timothy Hay and pellets. Is there any changes that I need to make to her diet before she potentially delivers??

This would be her first litter and if I can do anything to avoid first litter tragedy.

Start offering her unlimited Alfalfa hay and pellets. The babies will eat it as well, up until they're about 6 months. You can continue feeding her alfalfa until after the babies are weaned, which is usually around 6 weeks. Though it'll be fine for her to continue eating it until the kits are sold/moved.
