Tonight I went out to check my hen hen who has been sitting now for about 24 days. Two of the eggs were pecked open early in the begining, two more stopped developing, and now the last chick is fighting for it's life. I discovered the egg cracked and broken like she had stepped on it. The chick is actully coming out of the shell but you can see the yok sacks is still there. I think the egg must have been laid at a different time than the rest. I put it under a light inside the house but not sure what else I can do. Any advise would be helpful!!!
