hi I've just hatched 13 very health goslings then the last 5 started struggling, i could hear them chirping in the egg, then 1 started pipping the shell and eventually cracked it right open and i could see it inside, i left them an extra day and no improvement 3 had died one still chirping and the one that was pipped still chirping but not trying to get out, i monitored all night still nothing, starting to worry has they were 3 days over and i was losing the one not pipped the pipped one had managed to get its wing stuck were it had crack the shell, the last in shell not pipped died so i decided to encourage the pipped one and helped it out, to find it had no ate its yoke sake, i wrapped it in a warm paper towel kept changing every time it dried out leaving it in the incubator, the yoke sack slowly got smaller and way after 24hours in the incubator i decided to put him under his own heat lamp, next day the yoke sake had got smaller, the little guy was badly dis-formed especially his neck, i sat massaging the neck to straighten it, he started taking small amounts of food and water by day 4, i decided to give him a warm bath (just a bowl to sit in) he loved it and sat drinking the water, so I've done this everyday now and everyday hes got better swimming about in the big bath, but 7 days old i cant get him to eat at all, he was taking small amounts of water him self last night but now nothing, hes too weak to stand, so I'm syringe feeding and plenty of cuddles, to make him feel comfortable, other thing , he was pooping really well and then nothing to now he struggles very small smelly gluey white green stuff, he never stops chirping, also still go the remains of the dried up yoke sack please can you help if he was 2 days old and like this i could understand but hes gone 7 days
