Pressure canner on a ceramic-top range

Does anyone use a pressure canner on their ceramic top range? I have been doing it for the past 2 days. I have a very small canner that just holds 4 quarts. I want a new one that holds 7 quarts. Anyone using this size on a ceramic top? What kind do you have and can you still get them?

I don't think you can use the larger pressure cookers on a ceramic b/c they get so hot and the cooktop will automatically shut off.
