I bought these as table eggs from a lady who keeps a rare breed flock. The only problem is they're too pretty to eat. So I busted out the incubator and I'm giving them a chance. They're unwashed but have been in the fridge. Time will tell if this was a brilliant idea or I just put a weeks worth of breakfast in the bin.

I also bought some hatching eggs from eBay even through I swore I was done with that. They'll arrive shortly.

Did you get the rare breed potluck?

And good luck on the hatch!

Yes!!! I sense you're a fellow eBayer. I bought eggs from this seller a few years ago as well. Decent hatch rate for shipped eggs and she only 1 state away from me.

Uh oh... now I need to look up these hatching eggs. Lol

Foxfire in Idaho I take it? I won’t buy from anyone else :) Have two batches from her due to hatch 1/31 and 2/6. Two other batches about to be introduced to the main coop.

She sent soooo many eggs! Got the 15+ twice in one week and received 54 total.

Yup. That's the one! She wasn't sure if she'll be able to mail them today. Otherwise it won't be till next week.
But I'm not in a rush.

Do you have a thread for your eggs? Or a hatch along you post in? I'd love to follow along and see what hatches.
