Oh, I would TOTALLY keep him. BUT, I have an Alpha BO roo that is very sweet with me, but is very protective of the hen (that lays eggs to prove she is a girls

) And I know he would make Pretty Girl's life hard. I have a Giant Buff Cochin Roo too. And that would be just a wee bit too much BOYNESS in the coop

I'm going against the tides here...I think that's a gal. I don't see any saddle feathers at all and no bright feathering to indicate rooster. Was she fully feathered and pretty well grown when you got her?

There is nothing screaming roo to me except the comb, but a mature or close to lay hen can have a big red comb.

Yes, she was about full-grown (i think). She doesn't have "shiny" feathers if that helps. I was thinking she was a she until recently, but she's pretty timid, probably from the "incident".
I may keep her, but I don't want the alpha roo to attack her id she is a boy, LOL

Drumroll, pleeeeeezzee <cough, cough>>

Pretty Girl, is INDEED a pretty GIRL. She started laying eggs last week. It took some time to figure out who was laying eggs. I have 3 a day now ( yes in DECEMBER!) One hen had been laying since I got them in October, but the other two just started last week
WOOP WOOP.
And they both have HUGE combs (for girls)

I had a feeling it was a girl!!!

Sorry, that is just wrong...

... but sometimes for fun, I'll wear my billy bob teeth with patients that REALLY love me... for a laugh...

Or if I have someone come in with a broken front tooth... I'll wear the billybob teeth to make them feel more comfortable....

They always love they way they look when they leave.
