Hi there! So this summer I got two baby chicks from my friend - they are 20 weeks old now - my daughters named them Rick and Morty and this would be Rick in the pictures - I’m pretty positive Rick is a Rooster but was hoping someone on here could verify for me - I know all of the other ones I have are Pullets so I want to make sure I take the precautions to be able to separate Rick if I need to from the others until they are of age - also if anyone maybe has an idea of what type of chicken he is that would be awesome too - my friend had quite the mixture in her flock so we aren’t sure

I think there is buff Brahma in the mix, because of the feathered legs!

I think the tail feathers is what made me think differently ? They are different then every other chicken I have lol

Definitely a hen--tiny comb, and arching down tail feathers, more rounded neck feather tips. She's going to be large, fluffy butt. Looks like mix of Easter egger (feathered legs and may grow larger muffs--i think I can see small muffs over her earlobes). Tho I'm guessing she'll lay light colored eggs--beige/peach vs green (because of her white earlobes).
