I haven't really shopped around (just looked at mail order), but I feel pretty confident that I just got a good deal on some fake eggs. Hobby Lobby has them for .99/ea. They're absolutely perfect and ceramic. I was going to buy golf balls, but they aren't as cheap as I thought they'd be. If you're interested they keep them with the paper mache and wood structures.
