I feed my ducks Purina Flock Raiser. Last month the bag of feed was $17, this month (3 weeks later) it was $21. Just curious as to what others are paying and whether you are seeing the prices jump from month to month?

I'm feeding Mana-Pro eggmaker crumble for 12$ for a 40 lb bag for my bigguns, and $3.55 for a 5 lb bag of Nutrena Naturewise chick starter for my little peeps.

We feed our ducks an all purpose poultry from Dels Farm Supply.

The price has gone up 50% in the past year.

Flock management is in order.

I keep all my feed receipts in one spot just so I can check the price changes over time. Your question got me going on checking my old receipts, which I had been meaning to do for awhile now.
Here is a sampling of the prices I have paid ...

I feed Albers All Purpose Waterfowl:
9-14-11 it was $17.39
5-17-11 it was $16.09
2-24-11 it was $15.99
8-16-10 it was $14.09
6-21-10 it was $13.79

I also feed the laying ducks Albers Hi Lay:
9-14-11 it was $17.99
6-7-11 it was $16.69
3-31-11 it was $16.09
2-24-11 it was $15.99
10-26-10 it was $15.59
9-22-10 it was $14.99

I also have started using Payback waterfowl for when I have growing ducklings and its price had jumped as well but I don't have all my receipts for that handy.
