Price Problems?

Hi. Just wondering. How much would Jersey Giant + Easter Egger Mix breed cost when they are chicks?

Probably $2 tops. Not very many people want mix breeds. You could post the ad on craigslist to see what your local market is willing to spend.
One advantage is you may get some green layers out of that mix.

It depends on a few things really, like where you are, what breeds are popular, if they're in season, ect.

ok, but by guess, should I sell them at around 5 to 3 dollars each?

If people will pay that much then by all means go for the high end. But hatcheries sometimes sell purebred chicks for 2 or 3 dollars depending on the breed.

You could always do the price both purebred chicks go for or somewhere in the middle if they're different prices?

I middled the prices and besides, this is just a little project that I am making as a bit of curiosity of chick selling profit.

Honestly if you want profit, purebreds or meatcrosses (MAYBE sex link babies if you have that ability) are a best bet

I'm not actually going to sell them. Because my dad believes that there is no profit and that $21 a year to run an incubator 24/7 is too much money. And I want to beg the differ to him and by the looks of it, my purebred Jersey Giants are the best at the job, they lay the most, have the best hatch rate, and are the most favored. And besides, because of COVID-19, I can't go to school and I need to educate myself.
