Anybody heard of this stuff?
Has anyone used it?

It's supposed to be a probiotic, electrolyte, and vitamin supplement. I'm thinking about ordering some for my girls, but wanted to get a second opinion. The thing that makes me wonder is it says that it is for "high production flocks" .
My girls are not high production, they aren't even laying yet. What do you think? I would.love to hear from someone who uses this before I order.

Here is the link to the website:

Thanks!

First of all, I'd never buy anything for consumption that doesn't list specifically what's in it. You can't read that label from the picture on the website.

Secondly, I'm suspicious of "one size fits all" formulations. Chickens and macaws (for example), are both birds, but they have very different diets and nutritional needs. I'd be really surprised if the same supplement would be good for both.

Why are you looking for a poultry feed supplement? Are you concerned about the quality of your chicken feed? You could think about switching brands and upgrading to a better one.

Here's what I use:

If you'd rather add a supplement, though, I'd consider Fertrell's:

Countryside Naturals feed has Fertrell's supplements already in it.

That's what I was thinking....products that claim to do everything concern me. I have already ordered my first bag of countryside natural.....I will be switching over to it in a few weeks. I actually found this product when I was searching for poultry electrolytes. We've had a couple really hot days lately and my girls have been panting a lot. They sell durvet at my local feed store, but I was just looking for something that might be made specifically for hens and is okay to use frequently. With the way our summers have been the past few years, I'm afraid they'll need it
Thanks for the response!
