I apologize for the question that has been asked thousands of times, but I am still learning to navigate this forum. We have 10 chicks all around the same age of 3 1/2-4 1/2 weeks old and one has no tail feathers. Is it too soon to know whether or not it may be a roo or pullet?

Too young. Need to wait until it is 8-12 weeks old. At that time, a pic from the side while it is standing is great. Get comb and wattles in a pic too. But seeing feathering along the whole body is helpful, and it’s body shape and stance .
