that I have now taught my flock that if they come out of the field to the back porch I will feed them treats. They tried to follow the kids to the bus stop today. DH catches me, I'm dead.

And you see the two in the avatar picture - they just lay on the porch watching the flock with this look that says- uh, HELLO, your field, my porch!

I would LOVE to see chickens following a kid to the bus! That would be hilarious!

Mind you, the 14 year old daughter swears she hates the chickens. So, I told her last night its gonna be a hoot when they get on the school bus with her. In all her 14 year old sophisticated glory she GLARED at me! Too, too funny.
