This may be a dumb question, but I'm new to this chicken raising. We have 2 egg laying hens we got from my in laws. There use to be a rooster but he was given to a farm along with a few of the other hens. The past couple days I've noticed the bigger of the 2 hens has had a little more of an attitude, specially since the weather has gotten warmer. Is it normal for one of the hens to take on the rooster role when there are no roosters or am I just imagining things?
