she seems to get plenty of water from the current system so... otherwise I was going to fill a solo cup with water if I needed to. It is real happy to just sit halfway in the cup and eat.

Just try if she would prefer to drink out of a cup. With dry feed it is important to drink enough and she obviously has some catching up to do.
