hi i am trying to hatch 17 Ameraucana chicken's. first time hatch. i have a brower 11670-3 still air incabator. i cant seem to get the temp adjusted. i turn the dial and it take's a half round for the light and element to come on. and it imedallys goes to 106 degerees. i dont want to run my egg's if it aint allready done. can anyone tell me a trick to setting temp. hopeing the incabator aint messed up. butt it will hold that temp steady. just cant seem to get it lower. any advice would be apreacated.

advice for next time

run the incubator for a week before setting eggs

that way you can see whats what and if its gonna fail it will show within a week

once week is over and its running stable then add eggs

Yea. I would have butt i was given the eggs at the same time....didnt have any thing else to put em in so.
