My Mallard drake seems to have taken a liking to one of my 7 week old Cayuga ducklings (who happen to be bigger than he is, at about 5-6 pounds), and she's now terrified of him. I caught him chasing her around the enclosure we keep them, grabbing on to her neck and attempting to drag her down. After this took place a couple of times, I've started to worry. We have provided him with 5 females his age, and yet he insists upon going after the babies. Is there anything that I should do? And is he able to hurt them because they're too young? Thanks!

Separate them. Even though they are bigger that doesn't mean he can't hurt them. They are still babies and developing so keep them apart till they are 10+ weeks and then do slow introductions.

Okay, thank you so much for the advice, needlessjunk! That shouldn't be too hard for me to do.
