Processed chickens: transporting to/displaying at farmers' market

I'm looking at coolers for transporting frozen chickens to farmers' markets. Can anyone doing this tell me what size you use and how many chickens fit in your cooler (with ice)?

Also, do you have a way of displaying a chicken or two in plain sight? I'm wondering about opening a cooler and putting a clear cover on it--some kind of heavy plastic or glass that would keep the cold in but let people see the nice chickens inside.
