Granted, I'm in CA the spend for fooofoooo stuff capital of the world. But is it true that duck is really $7.00 per lb and $20.00/dozen eggs? At those prices I'll be processing a bunch of birds next Thanksgiving and Christmas. Shoot, I'll be eating $90.00 worth of bird this weekend.

Duck.... yes, the price ranges from $3.00 - $10.00 / lb from what I have seen.

Eggs... not so much. $3.00 - $10.00 is what I have seen. $10.00 in New York City. $20.00 is just insane!! LOL...

It varies so much from area to area. There was one poor person last summer who couldn't give her duck eggs away. Maybe she needed to slap a $20/dozen price tag on them! LOL

The stores around Bakersfield doubled their duck meat prices from last year to this year. I know when I sell chicken eggs around here I am selling for $4.00 per dozen and sell out every time, although I usually only have 4-5 dozen to sell each week. I just got the ducks this year, so I am not sure how or what they will sell for around here yet. So far I pulled the eggs and DH swears by Deviled Duck Eggs now. It was an experiment and boy did it turn out great.
