Processing our 50 cornish giants

Well the time has finally com and we are doing the deed this weekend YEAH!!!

There will be 3 of us, hubby killing and plucking and me and the neighbour cleaning and packaging.

Hubby thinks I being a goof because I said there will be a pot for the gizzards and one for the heart & livers. I don't want anything to go to waste so I will clean and keep the gizzard for soup (I hear they make great soup) and the heart & livers for the dogs. Now I found out my summer student's parents own a chinese food restaurant and they are taking the feet.

are you just calling them cornish giants or are they C X JG ?
Gizzards are great to eat as are the hearts!

The hatchery we bought them from call them Cornish Giants.....I just call them ugly, disgusting, smelly chickens

I think they are a cross though, with what I have no idea

lol ,those would be CXs . . . they are tasty birds no matter how gross when alive.
