processing Pekin ducks...

My only advice in processing ducks is to skin versus plucking. If you want the skin on I found dry picking was easier then trying to scald. My grandparents (years ago) used hot wax.
But it's been years since I processed ducks hopefully the more experienced will reply
 
The reason why most people do it around 8-9 weeks of age is becouse in a few weeks they will develope little things called pinfeathers they are very hard to take out and once the birds has them your better of skinning it.Its basically the same as a chicken but you can look on google if your not so sure.
